Summary
International Sourcing Fair (Shanghai, China) is held once a year in autumn since it was inaugurated in 2002. After 5 years of successful development, it has become the largest reverse sourcing fair in China with the total exhibition area of 20,000 sqm . In 2006, ISF China received approval to upgrade to a national level fair by the State Council of PRC and is now organized by Ministry of Commerce and Shanghai Municipal People's Government. ISF China is operated by Shanghai International Sourcing Promotion Center Co., Ltd. During these years, ISF China always enjoys high level Government support resulting in an exceptional reputation, outstanding highlights throughout the event and superb business effect.

General Information
International buyers show their sourcing lists or product samples to be purchased in their booths and su ppliers visit to look for matched purchasers. Assembling quality suppliers from all over China with the assistance and support of 19 cooperating provinces (85.1% supplier audience come from outside Shanghai) to achieve the motive of “Shanghai-based, world-oriented, serving the whole country”. 2007 ISF China consists of 6 display areas according to industries and regions. Newly-built “China Sourcing Area”, ”Quality Product Display Area” aims to promote the research, communication, complementary cooperation of predominant industries and quality products between companies both at home and aboard. Another display zone —— “Country & Region Sourcing Area”, setup specialized for small & medium purchasing exhibitors, was warmly welcomed for both purchasers and suppliers in 2006. So 2007 ISF China will continue to strengthen and enlarge this display area, This will further facilitate and assist more small buyers to find suitable suppliers. As an important composition of ISF China, “The 2 nd China International Sourcing Summit” will be held on Septmber 24-25.
