Shanxi plans 300 bln yuan input for coal industry
Shanxi Province, China's top coal reserve and production base, plans to invest more than 300 billion yuan in construction projects in the coal industry in the 11 Five-Year Program period (2006-2010), of which 200 billion yuan will go to non-coal industrial projects, according to the provincial government.
The province will build three major coal production bases, develop high-efficiency modern coal-mines and adjust products structure in the five-year period.
The province's coal industry projects to reap 300 billion yuan in sales revenue by 2010, of which 100 billion yuan will derive from non-coal operations.
