PTC Asia 2007 and CeMAT Asia 2007 held in Shanghai

PTC Asia 2007, a leading power transmission and control exhibitor, and CeMAT Asia 2007, an international fair for materials handling and logistics, will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from Oct. 10 to Oct. 13, according to Shanghai Daily.

About 2,000 exhibitors will be displaying their products and technologies in power transmission and logistics at the 92,000 square meters expo center. It is estimated that over 60,000 professional visitors will be visiting the exhibition, an increase of 10% from the previous year.

Top brands in hydraulic pressure, pneumatic drive and sealing element industries will be showcased in the exhibition, including hydraulic experts Bosch Rexroth, Eaton and HAWE, pneumatic giants Festo, SMC, Orgren and ASCO, as well as sealing element producers NOK and Trelleborg. Domestic hydraulic brands have also expanded their display areas in these two fairs, such as Sunban and Dazhong, which have rented a display area of 300 square meters and 270 square meters respectively.

China sees a booming demand for material handling machinery as large-scale automatic warehousing systems become popular in the country. According to statistics, total domestic demand for hydraulic, liquid power, pneumatic and sealing products will reach a total of RMB 45 billion by the year 2010.

Meanwhile, the logistics market will be pushed forward by the initiation of major national infrastructure construction projects and large-scale industrial projects. The two exhibits are expected to attract a large number of international buyers and professional visitors.
