Summary
The exhibition, organized by China Timber Distribution Association and Shanghai Timber Association, held in this September will take cooperation, development, double win" as a subject, take investment, trade and information exchange" as the master line, to create an opportunity for cooperation between overseas companies and domestic companies, to popularize antiseptic protection technology, to actualize continuable development of timber industry.

General Information
At the end of last November, official document No. 58 printed and distributed by State Department of China determined that treated-timber is aimed to account for 5% of total domestic timber products until 2010. The tangible policy shows a clear way of timber protection industry, and brings new developing opportunities. But at present, there is a great distance between Chinese timber protection industry and developed countries, regardless of production scale, technical or products quality and management. Data from Timber Value Promotion and Substitution Administration Center P.R.C. shows the output of antiseptic wood per year only about 7 million stere, amounts 1% of the output of wood products, meanwhile the proportion in US, Canada, Finland and Sweden is about 15%-50%. The large disparity suggests there’re huge development space for domestic manufacturers and foreign producers Scope of exhibits: 1.
