3C Group Q2 Net Profit More Than Doubles

China 3C Group, a retailer and distributor of consumer and business products, said net profit in the second quarter more than doubled to 5.5 mln usd from 2.3 mln a year earlier on strong revenue for the Zhejiang province-based firm.

Sales in the April-June period stood at 64.5 mln usd compared with 28.6 mln a year earlier.

Earnings per share (EPS) for the period stood at 0.10 usd compared with 0.05 a year earlier.
