Coal Consumption Keeps Increasing Rapidly

The main coal industries in China kept increasing rapidly in June, and are expected to maintain this trend in the future. There are four reasons for the rapid increase.

Firstly, strong macro-economy and strong demand of downstream markets such as power, metallurgy, construction materials, chemical products, promote rapid development of related industries.

Secondly, macro-control policies are relatively moderate in consideration of the sustainable and healthy macro-economic development.

Thirdly, rapid growth of fixed-asset investment will form high potentials of production capacity, which will promote rapid growth of coal industry. Lastly, high temperature in summer will also boost consumption of electrical power.
