Enterprises in Chongqing Keen on CDM Projects

Chongqing Municipal Economic Commission recently released that 11 local enterprises have signed 28 CDM project contracts with foreign purchasers up to now . In the next few years 12 million tons of carbon dioxide emission reduction targets will be sold with a high transaction amount to one billion yuan.

"CDM is a win-win mechanism." said the responsible person of Chongqing Municipal Economic Commission," This will widen the scope for more business cooperation with foreign companies and achieve a win-win result." According to him, 16 of the 28 CDM projects have been approved by National Development and Reform Comission.
