Far East brings home Shouyang pay

Houston-based China coalbed methane player Far East Energy has started production from its FCC-HZO6V well on the Shouyang block in Shanxi Province.

The company said production from the well had hit 95,000 cubic feet per day and was continuing to rise.

Far East said the rising production was evidence that its dewatering operations in the area were bearing fruit.
