Inner Mongolia boosts coal, power production

The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has accelerated the construction of key power and power industrial projects to guarantee the sustained development of energy industry.

According to the regional economic commission, the region will accelerate the construction of such projects as Shengli coalfield and Baiyinhua coalfield in Xilingele League, the technical transformation of Wanli Coalmine and Haerwusu strip-coalmine both operated by Shenhua Coalmine Company in Erdos city, and supportive power projects.

From January to June, Inner Mongolia saw its fixed assets investment fall sharply.
