Summary
In order to allow Chinas lighting enterprises to further develop market and build sales networks and brands at home and abroad, the organizing committee plans to hold International Lighting Equipments (Yiwu) Trade Fair2007 in China Commodities City Exhibition Center from Aug. 29 to Aug. 30, 2007. The organizing committee hopes this trade fair can promote the lighting equipment industry to communicate and cooperate widely with professional buyers of lighting equipments from Europe and North America, as a result, promoting Chinas lighting equipments to develop as a whole. Meanwhile, it also provides a very best platform and good opportunity to speed up international cooperation, enhance export of lighting equipments and improve industrial standards.

General Information
With building industry developing and people’s living standard improving, people have more and more high requirements on lighting equipments, not only requiring lighting equipments’ lighting effect but also paying more attention to lighting equipments’ decorative effect. As a result, the lighting equipment industry speeds up to develop. As per incomplete statistics, the world lighting equipment’s total trade volume reaches USD200billion. China’s domestic lighting products achieved about RMB180billion of consumption. China’s lighting equipments achieved about USD10billion of export volume, accounting for a half market share of world lighting equipment export. China’s lighting equipments play a more and more important role in overseas markets. Although China is one of processing bases for lighting equipments with largest export volume and output and lighting equipment owns obvious price advantages in the international market, China’s lighting equipment export majors in popularization, mid/low-end, popularization tradition, OEM high-density processing and processing with given samples. China still has not built some powerful brands in the international market. Moreover, there are great gaps to international counterparts in safety, design, material, process and innovation. Therefore, it is a key to improve international competition force by improving high-tech content and added value of our lighting equipments, adding designs and colors and types, developing lighting products with special purposes and enhancing export quality of China’s lighting equipment quality. As one of important bases for consumption, export and production of China’s lighting equipments, Zhejiang Province plays an important role. Yiwu is located in the central of Zhejiang Province, has a strong coverage on world market and high world popularity and is honored as world commodity sourcing supermarket. Foreign trade offices stationing in Yiwu permanently reaches 300, foreign buyers stationing in Yiwu permanently reaches 10,000, daily export volume of commodities reaches 1,000 standard containers and products cover 212 countries and regions worldwide. The deal volume keeps leading among China Top 10 Commodity Trading Marts for 10 successive years.
