An Irresistible Trend of the New Energy in China's Cassava to Fuel Ethanol

With the development of our economy, the demand on the petroleum in the country has increased further, the diversifying energy supply, taking the alternative energy like ethanol as the representative has become a trend of the energy policy in China. The NPC Standing Committee has passed the Law of Renewable Energy in China by consideration, and as a kind of alternative energy, fuel ethanol has become a new type of energy highlight promoted by government.

Guangxi Guofa Biomass Energy Co., Ltd. hasn't produced in scale in the first quarter of 2007, and it expects that the annual output of ethanol will be 80 thousand ton with about 40 million Yuan profit. If the Company gains the production enterprise qualification by being designated manufacturer of the cassava to fuel ethanol and enjoys the state allowance, its profit conditions will be improved greatly. Simply calculated according to the existing production capacity, the profit will reach to 180 million Yuan. The Company also plans to build 2 cassava to fuel ethanol factories with 100 thousand ton production capacity annually and respectively in the future.
