Technip wins syngas plant contract in China, value undisclosed
Technip said it has won a contract to design and engineer a syngas plant in Nanjing, China from Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co.
It did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
Technip said the plant, which will come on line in the first half of 2009, will be based on its own technology and that of Air Products, a technology partner.
The plant will be Technip's second syngas project in Nanjing, it said.
Syngas is an industrial gas mixture containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
