Noah develops handheld graphic calculator

Noah, a leading provider of interactive education content in China, has developed China's first handheld graphic calculator technology.

Developed in cooperation with Beijing Normal University and featuring content corresponding with China's official mathematical curriculum, Noah's graphic calculator is designed to be an important teaching tool for helping Chinese students develop advanced mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Compared to systems currently on the market, Noah's graphic calculator technology, which is downloadable to the company's digital learning devices, or DLDs, will be available at a price affordable for local students.

Dong Xu, Noah's chairman and chief executive officer said, 'By enabling interactive graphic calculations on DLDs for the first time, Noah's graphic calculator technology will help Chinese students improve their academic performance and give instructors the ability to teach mathematics more effectively in the classroom.'

China has 291 million children aged 5 to 19 so that the potential market is very large.

Noah's research and development team, located in Shenzhen, Beijing and Chengdu, consists of about 160 engineers. The company currently holds five domestic patents and has one international and eight domestic pending patent applications.
