BOC Aviation to lease 2 aircrafts to Air Canada
BOC Aviation, the wholly-owned aviation leasing unit of Bank of China<601988><3988>, said yesterday it had inked its first contract to lease two Boeing 777-300ERs to Air Canada.
The two planes will be delivered this month and April respectively, with a lease for 12 years, according to BOC Aviation. Its Boeing 777 fleet will rise to 12 after the deal.
"We welcome Air Canada to become our client," said Steven Townend, Chief Commercial Executive of BOC Aviation. "The deal will boost BOC Aviation's recognition in the North American market."
Established in 1993 and headquartered in Singapore, BOC Aviation is a global leading aviation leasing company with a fleet of 79 new-type planes serving worldwide.
