Cathay passenger volume up 14% in Feb

Hong Kong's largest carrier Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd<293> on Thursday announced its passenger volume in February increased 14% from a year earlier thanks to growing transport capacity of some routes.

Together with its subsidiary Hong Kong Dragon Airlines Ltd, the company carried 1.95 million passengers last month, and cargo volume also rose 7.6% to 121,101 tons, said the company.

Meanwhile, its load rate climbed 2.1% from a year earlier to 77.6% in the same month.
