China Trade Fair 2008 to take place in Nepal capital
China Trade Fair 2008 will be held in the capital of Nepail, Kathmandu on April 25-28 on the initiative of Nepal-China Executives Council (NCEC) and Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Nepal.
The fair is aimed to transfer information to Nepali people about ultramodern machinery, automobiles, electronic goods, medical and agricultural instruments and home appliances manufactured in China and boost the economy and tourism industry in China, said Chairman, Anupranjan Bhattarai at a press conference on Thursday.
He noted that the fair would provide great opportunities for the bilateral trade between the two sides, and 80 stalls of 20 Chinese companies and about 150,000 individuals intend to visit the fair.
The China trade fair took place in Nepal for the first time in 2005, which marks the golden jubilee of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Nepal and China.
