Chinese pork prices up 0.34 pct in latest week-NDRC
Prices of pork, a major item underlying China's consumer inflation, rose 0.34 percent in the week ending March 14, reaching 14.61 yuan ($2.06) per 500 grams (1.1 lb), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) said on Monday.
But beef and mutton prices continued to fall in the last week, while prices of chicken and eggs were unchanged.
