HK's GNP up 14.6% in Q4
In the fourth quarter of 2007, Hong Kong's gross national product surged 14.6% year-on-year to reach HK$465.3 billion (US$59.8 billion), according to the latest official figures.
In the mean time, Hong Kong's gross domestic product (GDP) is estimated at HK$447.2 billion, jumping 11.7%, according to the Census and Statistics Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government.
Hong Kong's GNP surged 9.4% in real terms, regardless of the effect of price changes, higher than the GDP growth of 6.7% in the same quarter, according to the Statistics Department.
Hong Kong's GNP surged 11.4% year-on-year to HK$ 1.6749 trillion last year, HK$62.3 billion more than GDP value.
