Lenovo eyes A-share listing

Lenovo<992>, China's leading PC maker, plans to list in the A-share market, so as to raise capital for overseas expansion, market sources reported.

There is still no timetable for the listing yet, said Liu Chuanzhi, chairman of Legend Holdings, the largest shareholder of Lenovo.

Liu disclosed that Lenovo would extend its overseas presence through acquisitions, but he declined to give comments on the targets.

Its H-shares closed at HK$4.72, down 6.90% on Friday.
