Synutra spends US$25 mln on high-end mineral water production

Nasdaq-listed dairy-based nutritional food producer Synutra International Inc. intends to invest US$25 million for the production of 500,000 tons of high-end mineral water for infants ranging from three months old to three years old, in cooperation with Wanggezhuang sub-district office in Laoshan District of Qingdao in East China..

Synutra International will launch 160-milliliter and 330-milliliter products, priced between RMB 3 and RMB 5.

The unprecedented production base has been established around Laoshan Quanxin Reservoir and there are plans to incorporate touristic elements in the project.
