Metro Bank settles in Chongqing
A branch of U.S.-based Metro Bank has been registered in southwestern China's Chongqing Municipality, marking the settlement of a foreign-funded financial insititution in Chongqing.
It is the second Metro Bank branch to settle in China. Metro Bank set up its first branch in Xiamen, a city of southeastern China's Fujian Province.
Metro Bank, established in 1987, is the largest Chinese capital bank listing on the NASDAQ Stock Market in Texas, U.S.A.
It mainly offers commercial and private banking services to Chinese-speaking, Spanish-speaking and other Asian communities worldwide.
