China Mobile Closer To Apple's iPhone
China Mobile (NYSE: CHL, 941.HK) chairman and CEO Wang Jianzhou said on Thursday that the biggest obstacle to introducing Apple's (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone to China has been solved with Apple's decision to give up previous revenue sharing demands, reports China Business News. China Mobile previously cited revenue sharing ratios and multimedia messaging services (MMS) as the biggest roadblocks to a joint iPhone release. China Mobile data department general manager Gao Nianshu said in January that China Mobile was unwilling to grant Apple a 20-30 percent cut of iPhone revenues, leaving first and second round negotiations in deadlock.
