Paper import retrial

The Ministry of Commerce said yesterday that it will start a retrial today on an anti-dumping tax levied against coated art paper imports from Japan and the Republic of Korea.

The proceeding is scheduled to last for a year. In the interim, the old tax rate of 4 percent will apply, the ministry said. China implemented the tax on August 6, 2003, for a five-year period. Coated art paper is often used for high-quality printing.
