HK issues alert on fraudulent bank website

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority issued an alert Monday on fraudulent website www.bocnhkg.org which looks similar to the Bank of China (Hong Kong)'s official website.

The bank has clarified it has no connection with the bogus site and has reported the case to the police.

Anyone who has provided personal information to, or has conducted any financial transactions through the site, should contact the police or the bank, said the authority.
