China's information technology product exports and imports reached US$282.12 billion in the first nine months, a 13.7-percent growth from a year ago.

But the rise was lower than the domestic industry growth rate of 15.3 percent and 6.5 percentage points lower than that of last year, according to Chen Wenhai, secretary general of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. The business model of "low price" products is not okay as the influence of the financial crisis, Chen said at the 72nd China Electronics Fair which opened yesterday in Shanghai.
