May delay new cargo terminal
Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, Hong Kong's biggest carrier, may delay a new cargo terminal, costing HK$4.8 billion (US$619 million), at the city's airport as air-freight demand slows.
The timing of all capital expenditures is "under scrutiny" as the airline "is considering a number of options to ensure that it maintains a strong balance sheet," Carolyn Leung, a spokeswoman, said yesterday by e-mail.
