China Coal Energy Jan-Nov coal output up 9.1 pct on-yr

China Coal Energy Co., the second largest coal producer in China, said coal output in the first 11 months totaled 91.8 million tonnes, up 9.1 pct from a year earlier.

The growth rate is slightly higher than in the first ten months of 8.8 percent, indicating a better performance.

The company also produced 3.4 million tonnes of coking coal during the January to November period, up 11.6 pct year-on-year, it said in a statement on its website.

Total coal sales climbed 8.1 pct year on year to 82.6 million tonnes, of which export volume reached 14.5 million tonnes, it said.
