China Development Bank issues RMB 32.12 bln bonds

China Development Bank (CDB) announced it issued three-year fixed-rate bonds worth RMB 32.12 billion on the interbank market on Wednesday.

The yield of the notes was set at 2.21%. It originally planned to float RMB 22 billion bonds, and added RMB 10.12 billion in the course of issuance, according to the lender's statement posted on the official Chinabond.com website.

The value date and payment due day will both start from Dec. 5.

This is the 21st batch of financial bonds of CDB in 2008, which plans to issue RMB 580 billion worth of financial debt in total this year, of which RMB 530 billion will be mid-and long-term bonds and the remaining RMB 50 billion will be short-term ones.
