Coal firm sales

CHINA Shenhua Energy Co's November coal sales fell 5.2 percent from a year earlier to 18.2 million tons as domestic demand declined.

Overseas sales were unchanged at 2.2 million tons, the Beijing-based company said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange yesterday. The coal producer, China's biggest, raised production by 19 percent to 15.7 million tons last month, according to the statement.
