Extra oil

China National Petroleum Corp, the nation's biggest oil explorer, said it has made six major oil and gas discoveries this year.

Additional oil reserves found this year by the company, the parent of Hong Kong-listed PetroChina Co, may hit a record for a third time, its Website said.
