Hong Kong stocks open sharply lower on Dec. 2

Hong Kong stocks opened sharply lower on Tuesday by moving down 735.82 points, or 5.22 percent, at 13,373.02.

The benchmark Hang Seng index dropped to 13352.49 points minutes after the market opened following the plunge of U.S. stocks and Asian bourses.

The Dow Jones industrial average plummeted 7.7 percent Monday with worries from the investors on economic situation.
