Value seen to rise

SHANGHAI has some 1,000 medical equipment producers and nearly 6,000 sales companies, according to the Shanghai Association of Medical Equipment.

The sales value of the industry last year was 11.95 billion yuan (US$1.75 billion) and it is expected to reach 13 billion yuan this year.
