Styrene Project of Bluestar Petroleum Daqing Branch Has Begun to be constructed

80 thousand t/a styrene project of Bluestar Petroleum Daqing Branch began to be constructed on Jul. 19, which meant that the construction of the project had been begun formally. The project takes the ethylene as the raw material, which is contained in the dry gas, a by-product of the Company's DCC combined equipment, and adopts the techniques of 3rd generation ethylbenzene unit from FCC dry gas which is developed by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics and the technology of ethylbenzene dehydrogenation to styrene which is developed jointly by Shanghai Research Institute of Petrochemical Technology, East China University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Pharmaceutical Industry Design Institute.
