With a staff of more than 70,000, Baidu ranks relatively high among other enterprises in areas like employee commitment, satisfaction and material benefits, according to statistics. Its management efficiency score is 18% higher than the average scores in the Chinese market and 6% higher than the average of the IT industry. For employee development and training, the two figures are 12% and 7% respectively.
