China imports of copper, semis down 5 pct on month

China's imports of copper and semi-finished copper products in February fell 5 percent from the previous month to 226,980 tonnes, Customs data showed on Monday.

China is the world's top consumer of copper.

Exports of primary aluminium and aluminium alloy fell 31 percent to 39,678 tonnes.
